Bangladesh is a unique and extraordinary place on Earth, nestled between the majestic Himalayas and the vast Indian Ocean. From the moment this land was discovered, its inhabitants have thrived in harmony with nature's abundant gifts. The country's landscape is adorned with numerous rivers, fertile soils, and a lush variety of flora and fauna, making it unparalleled in its natural beauty. Despite these blessings, we have yet to design and develop our cities and villages to the standards seen in other developed regions. It's surprising that, even after 53 years of independence, there is still no comprehensive Masterplan for the long-term development of our country. It is essential to envision and plan for the future of Bangladesh, looking forward to the future eras of 2040, 2056, 2071, and beyond. The visionaries of the July-August 2024 victory are expected to create long-term plans and visionary illustrations to guide sustainable nation-building initiatives. Our tropical climate zone bestows our land with rich natural resources, such as soil, water, and plants. To foster bioclimatic development, these resources should be thoughtfully shaped and utilized. By precisely crafting these natural elements into a Red-Green-Blue (RGB) framework, we aim to introduce the new concept of the "Bengal Riviera." This vision goes beyond the well-known French, Italian, and Spanish rivieras, incorporating unique features of our invaluable cultural heritage. We aspire for the Town Homes, Terrace Homes, and Garden Homes of Bangla Bosoti to serve the needs of our art-loving metropolitan residents.
